The Ceramics section is divided into Functional and Sculptural. Most of my functional work is done on the potters' wheel, bisque fired and then hand painted with underglazes and glazes and finally fired one more time. The sculptural pieces are thrown, altered, carved, sgraffitoed, sprigs are added and then bisqued fired. Sometimes found objects are attached.
